TWIGS, an Auxiliary of Dayton Children’s Hospital, are groups of diverse individuals committed to providing support for a wide range of services at Dayton Children’s Hospital through various fundraising projects throughout the year. Some provide support directly to patients and their families through Dayton Children’s Volunteer Department or through special TWIGS-sponsored events at the hospital. The talents of all members come together for Miami Valley’s annual premier holiday event, Sugarplum Festival of Trees, and the annual golf event, Gem City Jam.
TWIGS have raised over $9 million dollars since 1965. The TWIG Auxiliary has pledged $1,000,000 over four years to provide funding toward the Mills Family Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders in the new patient tower at Dayton Children’s Hospital. The Center will be a world-class facility providing outstanding care to kids with cancer and other blood disorders.
